I've moved from badger to boar due to using soaps instead of creams. The boar bristles are stiffer and better suited to soaps. This lathers up well and softens the beard ready to shave.

Typical Harris quality, with a dense and lasting lather featuring their signature, natural scents. Being triple-milled soaps, they’re long lasting, too. In addition, the contoured oval shape makes them comfortable in the hand. Highly recommended. Great service and fast delivery from MGS as usual.

This maybe open comb but its so easy to use, absolutely no change of nicks.

Every so often I get a little brave and attempt a go at a straight razor shave, mostly with lots of nerves and next to no success, this was until this gem of a razor, the handle grips really nice and is sizable enough to give you a sense of control and stability, my nerves are significantly less thus making shaving with it no longer a fear but an adventure into straight razor shaving.

I have never owned a razor like this. It is perfection. Shaving is a pleasure now.
