Getting fed up with the cost of cartridges for my old razor, I decided to try wet shaving — and so far, so good. The shave is definitely closer and lasts longer. I'm still figuring out how to efficiently shave the underside of my chin and neck, but I'm getting there.
As for the kit, it includes everything you need from a hardware perspective. The razor is very light, easy to hold, and comes with a useful stand. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and looking forward to refining my technique.

Great items for great prices, and fast delivery. Will definitely be buying from this company again

The products are of great quality, arrived quickly and very well packet. Very happy with the purchase.

Having a thick stubble and a sufferer of razor burn ventured in to the world of single/double edge razors.
Having used the Henson for a few months now very happy with the razor and the results. No more razor burn and an extremely comfortable shave.
Would recommend, (Mild).

Best shave I've every had, top quality razor, fantastic communication from Male grooming supplies and fast delivery! Will be ordering again.

Really close shave, feels a lot better than the most expensive razors on the market. It’s really easy to replace the blades and the value of replacing the blades can’t be beaten. Highly recommend

Wild rose is a gently scented cream that doesn't overwhelm, but adds just the right amount of aroma - I have been using this cream for many years now and would not think of changing to anything else.

Best Solo Edge Safety Razor from Parker made to long last, smooth shaving razor, mid aggressive, shaves well with shaving cream, soap or gel.

This is my first venture into open comb razors, after years of using a Muhle R89. I won’t be looking back. This gives a smooth comfortable shave and I’m loving the fact I can adjust depending on which pass I’m on. Worth every penny!

As someone who has dabbled many times with double edge safety razor shaving. I've always returned to cartridge razors simply because they are quicker, more convenient and easier to use. But the costs of replacement cartridges and my self imposed ban of buying from American companies (thanks to the Orange one and his best mate), I decided to give them another go. I'd heard a lot about these Canadian razors and liked how the blade is forced into a 30 degree angle and has a flat surface that comes into contact with the skin. This means that you hold the razor much more like a cartridge razor in a close to vertical position. Due to the flat surface of contact and the blade angle, you can't "scrape" across your skin, which was one of the problems that I always used to have with previous DE razors. It's much lighter than other razors due to the aluminium construction and I like that. I haven't had a single nick or cut and am trying a few different blades to see which suits me best. Still not as easy or quick as a cartridge razor and I don't find it cuts any closer either but the blades are a fraction of the price. It's pricey though but I hope it lasts a lifetime. Pity they don't just sell the head so you could attach your own handle.

Light, well engineered and a smooth shave.
