The Merkur Classic 1904 Open Tooth Double Edge Safety Razor 41 001 is a three-piece safety razor with an open comb head and bright chrome finish. The open comb design allows lather and stubble to pass through the head during the shave.

Choose the 41C if you want an open comb in a short-handled format. It has a fixed head: the open comb is a row of teeth, not an adjustable blade-gap setting. Standard double edge blades fit between the cap and baseplate. Use light pressure with wet shaving lather, and rinse hair and lather from the comb as you go.
